Rosa rugosa
Rugosa rose

Fragrant and showy, the 2 1/2 - 3 1/2" flowers of the species range from the most common pink or purplish pink to white. They can be single or double and occur continuously from June through August and sporadically until frost. Since this species readily hybridizes with other roses, hybrid cultivars also include yellow flowers.
