Rosa xanthina f. hugonis
Father Hugo rose

A most delicate light yellow, the single 2 - 2 1/2" diameter flowers are borne from mid-May into June. This early-flowering shrub rose bears large numbers of showy flowers that line and nearly cover the entire branches. The weight of the heavy display contributes to the beautifully arching effect of this plant. The light yellow color is accented nicely with a mass of darker yellow stamens in the center.
