Viburnum lantana
Wayfaringtree viburnum

The leaves of the Wayfaringtree viburnum are dark green and pubescent on both surfaces. Growing 2 to 5" long and 1 1/2" to 4" wide, the leaves are ovate to oblong-ovate in shape. The margin is denticulate or finely dentate and the veins are deeply impressed producing a very rough leathery or rugose appearance. The deeply impressed leaves stick out prominently on the undersides of the leaves. The leaf bases are cordate to rounded and the apices are acute to obtuse.
