Acer negundo
Boxelder

The leaves turn an unattractive yellow-green or brown color in the fall, although some pleasant yellow hues are occasionally possible. Many years ago I was walking through the Morton Arboretum and saw a specimen glowing with a nearly phosphoresent yellow fall color which astounded my group as we approached it and identified it as a boxelder.
