Hypericum frondosum
Golden St. John's wort

Culture: Like the other shrubby hypericums, this species prefers full sun to partial shade, is pH adaptable and tolerates dry heavy soils. If plants become leggy, it is difficult to encourage new bottom growth through pruning. Dirr reports poor performance of this genus in the South.
