Salix alba
Weeping willow

Often found in extremely wet sites, this fast-growing species is good in moist sites where little else will thrive. It is most often found in the trade as its weeping form, 'Tristis', commonly referred to as the Golden Weeping Willow. The non-weeping species is rarely cultivated.

Habit:Rounded, open, loose, low and informally branched, long thin slightly pendulous young branches

Color:Medium green to slightly grayish green
