Salix alba
Weeping willow

Long, slender and flexible, the light yellow-green stems are extremely smooth and flexible with variable glossiness. The most commonly seen form, 'Tristis' has bright yellow extremely pendulous stems in the winter. Fine silky hairs can usually be found near the apex of the slightly pendulous stems.
