Viburnum dentatum
Arrowwood viburnum

Different from many other viburnums, this species produces blue colored oval drupes from September to October. The dark blue drupes attract birds. The slightly ornamental drupes are 3/16 " long. The brightness of the blue color differs from plant to plant, affecting the showiness. They are readily eaten by the birds.
